Boronia absolute is a dark green color liquid with fresh, fruit-like aroma with rich, floral undertone. This absolute is extracted from the fresh leaves and blossoms of Boronia flowers (Boronia megastigma) through solvent extraction process. Boronia megastigma belongs to the Rutaceae family and is widely cultivated for its captivating whiff. It is one of the several species of Boronia which is widely cultivated for its intense fragrance. In perfumeries, boronia is used with mimosa, violet and honeysuckle bases while in flavoring industry, it adds naturalness to flavors like strawberry, raspberry and peach.
